Lookin at the pic...... wonder what ever happened to Bobby Hillin Jr? when he first hit the scene, he was supposed to be wonder kid...... even won Talledega really young in an unsponsored car..... then he got with the Stavola Brothers, and never really did anything........
cool pic though.

I run across that pic on Flicker and then started thinking how much more I liked watching the racing back then compared to now.I sure do miss the old cars, when they really were the actuall production cars all the way down to the cigarette lighter still in it.Just kick the windows out of them.

What a great pic............... AAAAAAAAH the "Good Ole Days". I dunno, to me the heyday of NASCAR was from about 1965 till the late 1980's. Course I don't really remember much before say 68 or so.

I was too young to watch back then. I don't lie either. :captive: Bwahahahaha! Although 65 would have been pushing it for me... I didn't like any sports then but playing outside. The 80s .... well, someone in my house watched NASCAR. ;)

Yep that was the heyday for me too, Bill, Rusty, Dale Sr, Waltrip,Cale Bobby,Richard,David, all those names and all those memories of really good racing like it should be. Not the fabricated, plastic, generic, mess we have today.
