What Junior said to Steve Hmiel while climbing into the Budweiser Chevrolet might've been one of the greatest lines I've ever heard a driver ask his crew chief. So you know, many drivers prefer a more technical vocabulary packed full of racing jargon when discussing the readiness of their car. It can be complicated, confusing, and non-productive at times. As for Dale Jr., well, why get complicated when you can get the same answers by asking your crew chief, "Is this thing gonna go when I put my foot up its a$$?"

Funny, but the greatest line? I very much doubt that. Maybe the greatest printable line.

Bet that's one guy who didn't need a writer, did he? :)

I just can't warm up to today's rehearsed comments when the TV cameras are rolling.

There have been times when DE was "venting", that I would swear steam was coming from my headset. :D

He "vented" at Daytona during the very first night race -- starting with RC and working his way down. My dad, attending his very first NASCAR race, looked at me, his eyes big as saucers, and said "he's mad, isn't he?"

I nearly fell out of my seat laughing so hard.
