So who do you think is still in the Hunt for the 2012 Championship after last night's race?

For me:

Brad Keselowski
Jimmie Johnson
Denny Hamlin
Clint Bowyer.

Although I'll be honest, Clint is a long shot. The rest of the 12 man chase field is done for the season.

I wouldn't write Kasey off just yet. I do think he will top Bowyer in the final standings, but both will need huge help to win it.

Eh I think it'll be an uphill climb for Clint and Kasey. Basically Brad, Johnson and Hamlin would have to have a bad week in order for Clint and/or Kasey to get back into the hunt. So like I said, it's an uphill climb and that hill is steep.

I would remind you guys that Stewart was in 5th place, 24 points back after Charlotte last year.

One man race. Bad Brad wins it. Happy FB??

I've lost my team to root for so I'm only rooting against a couple to win the championship this year. Pit road speeding penalty's, having to come back in for a missing lug nut, passing on a restart, wrong advise from their psychiatrist, cracking the rear of the car after a victory and a subsequent points penalty. I'm not going to name any names but that's what I'm looking for to take a couple of these guys out of contention.

We need to share strategies so we aren't building the same voodoo dolls.

If a yellow came out late in the race last week, this would be over and the last 5 races would be pretty lame. I like this better. Brad and the #2 team messed up, and now it's real tight again. One thing is for sure, the #2 team has the 1.5's down pretty good. So good, JJ and Denny took a huge gamble to try and stay in this thing.

Well, there's still the X Factor, mainly Kyle Busch. It's usually around this time that he has his annual melt down and does something stupid. Will he have another melt down again and take a Chase contender out of a race?

I think it's possible he may race someone so hard, there is an incident and an excuse to do something stupid. Kyle may be a little torn here. If Denny wins Toyota's first championship, it will undermine Kyle's hero status.

I wouldn't put it past Kyle to grab an opportunity to wreck Hamlin or any of the chasers just as long as it can feasibly be passed off as a "racing incident".

Wreck Hamlin? No way. I don't think he would just go out and wreck Harvick or Keselowski for that matter. I do think he may RACE those 2 extra hard. If there's contact that hurts Kyle's position, then anything can happen.

Well let's be honest, this is the same guy that wrecked Hornaday under caution. So intentionally wrecking someone isn't out the realm of possibility when it comes to Kyle Busch.

No doubt he can do anything when he loses his cool, including wrecking a chase contender.

The three up front obviously are the favorites. Kasey to me is in a better position then Bowyer, Bowyer despite winning Saturday isn't the best on 1.5 milers which are Kasey's bread and butter.
