The makes...Is a Rule Change needed?

I For one say yes. The Dodges do for sure. The Chevy's are doing fine with there advantage, as are the pontiacs. And as for Ford, I believe that they should take something away from them. They seem to be the Dominate Make week in and Week out.
 
I don't know if that will sell bill,A dodge had the points lead 3/4 of the season.;)
 
im for a rules change, take the front air dam kick out on the ford and leave it the same, and add a quarter inch to the other 3 makes.
 
Make them Fair and so that everyone is happy Is what I want, But I doubt that It will every be accomplished...
 
I know where you are comming from Bill.But with the points race so tight in the differant makes Nascar is crowing like a baneyrooster right now for the way they have evened the field. ;)

We'll see next year when all are supposed to have the same aeor package.

For now, let the chips fall where they may with only 8 races to go.

Set the rules a month before Daytona Speed Weeks. Allow for no more than 2 tweaks per manufacturer per season. Nothing after a certain point...say, race 20 or so. Run what ya brung.
 
If there was one set of rules for all cars, we wouldn't need all the changes. I don't understand why you all think nascar is suposed to make yor car faster, thats what crews, builders,drivers and mfg's are suposed to do.

Dodge is the most poles leader.
#7 in laps led with GM getting top 3 spots
#2 & 10 in miles led with 4 of top 5 to GM
3 different dodge tied for #3 in wins

Dodge is there ,just not finishing.

Dodge needs no help with anything to do with "aero". Nothing at all. I can't even see how you could come to think that. I know that Sterling was saying something about losing the balance on his but Sterling is a dumbass and doesn't even know himself what he's saying most of the time. He's just looking for excuses as to why he's not going to win the title.:rolleyes:
 
I'm all FOR a rules change.

Strike all rules that have nothing at all to do with safety and let the boys race. Parity is a joke.
 
The dodges are fine, its the drivers that aren't doing so well. The only dodge drivers worth anything this year are Marlin and Ellliott. Rule changes couldn't help the petty cars, Mayfield, Atwood, Spencer. Wait till Penske switches to Dodge, then you'll see its the drivers, not the cars.
