SPOILERS in the story in yellow. To read my take, highlight it with your mouse.

I have to admit, I didnt not understand the story one bit. Nothing special really, the special-effects hardly make-up for the confusing story.

I liked the battle for Zion, with all the mechs and the drilling machines and the machine guns blazing. The scene was pretty spectacular. However, as the movie gets onto the fight scene between Neo and Smith, the fight scene just ends up being too prolonged and by the end of that, your arms will be sore. There are some things that the movie-makers manage to put into the movie at the last minute, so much that we dont understand their purpose, like the little girl who was scheduled for deletion and was staying with the Oracle or that weird-looking guy who rides that subway train. What was the purpose of the talking face in the machine city? Why did Neo go to the machine city? That purpose is never really revealed.

Lots of questions the movie doesnt answer at all. However, for me, I wouldve liked the movie a lot more... IF I HAD UNDERSTOOD THE DAMN STORY !
 
dude I could'nt read that yellow stuff anyway, I saw all three and the first one is the best

I agree with you there, the first one was the only one out of three that I really liked and made the most sense.

I think the reason he went to the city is becasue he said he could feel the machines and he knew what they wanted, and I guess that black face was the leader, and to what one of the things that the oricle said it's sounded like to me she opened it up for another matrix movie or a spin off. Also neo told the leader of the machines he was the only one that could defeat smith
 
I saw the first two. Waswn't crazy about the second one. Don't think I will waste good money to go see it. Will waite till it comes out on DVD. :D
