has anyone else checked out this new show? I'm watching episode 2 now on CBS...not sure what to make of it yet...opinions?

It is an ok show. My wife likes it a little more than I do right now, but I like it ok. It has some potential. It has a few too many overdone story lines like the antagonism between the female detective in charge and the Mentalist. Of course, they are already starting the predictable "underlying sexual attraction" between these two antagonists. That is one of those things that really bug me, because when people argue all the time in real life it usually means that they really just don't like each other, not that they can't wait to jump each other at the first opportunity. But I am getting off track here.
