This is all the results that are posted so far. I will post the rest as soon as they post them.
Welcome to The Mountain!
On behalf of the owners and management of Mountain Raceway Park and Fairgrounds, Welcome!
The Mountain shined on it's first night of race action.
Hey race fans, A complete story with photos, and interviews on line will be available very soon. For now, we want to let everyone know the feature winners.
Mini stock was Brian Courtney. Front wheel drive was Daniel Lawson winning from the pole in dominant fashion. Street Stock was the 2005 track champion "Silver Bullet" Tony Lindsay in a very exciting last lap finish.
The Sportsman was probably the most exciting event with Josh Collins taking advantage of a last lap collision to capture his first Mountain victory. The Super late model cash went to the "Milkman" Mike Weeks after outside pole sitter Mark Douglas led only to have tire problems late in the race.
A special thank you goes out to victory lane sponsor Chris Breeden as he enhanced the winner's purse an additional $500.00. Even Chris' wife Suzy lended a hand in the concession stand to help out our customers. We at the mountain feel we are blessed to have these type of folks supporting our racing facility. But, tonight we are all big winners. The Mountain shined some very bright lights tonight. More to come real soon. Stay tuned.
