The headlight decal seems to be very different between the 16 and 22

Even the angle of the nose appears different.

What's with that?

These look like they may be digital renderings rather than actual photographs. Maybe that's why they look different.
Check out the differences between the 55 and the 56 - and they are both MWR cars.

The 22 looks better, BTW...
 
The 22 looks like a 2D representation of the car while the 16 appears 3D if you look at the spoilers.

I like the new look, just be glad to see them at speed to see how exciting they are going to be . Got to be better if they have nixed the 2 car drafts.

Both. The car is supposed to be a billboard; the 2 car has a cleaner look than the 18 that has all the associate sponsor stickers confusing the look. I miss the days when a car had one look for the season, it was easier to follow race to race. I think the Target car is one of the most identifiable cars because it usually has the same color scheme throughout the year. The new car has a better grill that helps ID the brand.
