I saw the movie a couple nights ago, and I am still speechless, it's a masterpiece. I see nothing anti-semitic about it really, however, I wouldve gotten into it more if they just made the beating of Christ less violent and if they also portrayed his life as a child, how Mary and Joseph took care of him, how he met the disciples just like the other movies made in the past. Although I understand Gibson's point to show that Christ suffered for our sins, it wasnt just the Romans or the Jews that killed him... it was us.
If this movie doesnt change your outlook on life, then I dont know what will, I admire Mel Gibson for getting the message out and reminding us, in a time of apathy and anarchy and such that we are human beings, we should treat each other with love and respect, thats the image that Christ gave us, and we should do our part to emulate him. I shed a tear or more during the movie and I'm the kinda guy who doesnt cry at movies or anything else, but trust me, this movie made me cry and it's very very emotional, very touching.
When I left the theater with my mom and my brother, everyone in there was left speechless still glued to their seats even long after the movie had ended.
