If Tony wins both of the final races I will not be surprised . If Tony is not a factor in the outcome of the C4C I will be shocked .
Everyone is suppose to let the C4C 10 race and give them a little extra room I dont think Tony cares.
 
actually, tony does care as he said on an interview at the end of the race at new hampshire and he cant give any room if none of the chasers have even come close on passing him in these past races, i mean tony did not get pass once for the lead or any possiotion at texas (other than jmac and newman not pitting) but you're right..tony can potentionally win homestead but in the other hand he hasn't done great at the track iether so we'll see.
 
I think you better recheck Tony's stats a both Pheonix & Homestead, cause he runs pretty darn good at both, and has won at both.
 
After the Texas win, he was asked about being a spoiler in The Chase. He basically said he was there to win races and didn't have near the pressure on him the Chasers do.
 
He's already proven he's as good or better than some of the guys in the chase. He's just had more bad luck than some of 'em.

Tony is the best driver on the track today, bar none !!!!!!

However, Tony not making the chase is not as much due to bad luck as infantilism early in the season.

It is fairly certain Tony does care about those in the chase and although not willing to give away a win, he is well aware of those challenging for the championship and will give them every consideration.
 
Whizzer is right Tony only has Tony to blame for not being in the chase .
 
The best way to avoid the chasers is to stay in front of them, IMO.

And I agree that Tony missed the chase due to his OWN actions. Someone here said a while back something about Tony teaching Newman a lesson earlier this year and what it cost him. I couldn't agree more.
