History repeats itself. In 2007, New England beat the Giants in the regular season final game to go 16-0. New York beat them in the Super Bowl.

LSU beat Alabama and went on to win the SEC Championship. I think Alabama will exact revenge tonight.
 
I take the other side.

bama gets their azz whipped tonight.
 
I forgot the game was tonight so I guess that shows how excited I am for it. That being said, I'm going with LSU this time. Went with Alabama last time and it didn't work out so....
 
I have no rooting interest here. Just hope for a close game and no blowout.

Keep an eye on LSU's DB Lorenzo Mathieu. He's a threat to return every punt return and he's fun to watch.
 
Would love to stay up and watch the second half, but if it's anything like the first half, Bama will win with a score of 9 to 6. Hmmmm, sounds familiar.

LSU BLEAUX! But I'd expect an Alabama fan to say they're great, Alabama's just better. The BcS should've followed their protocol and had Alabama play in Sugar but since they had a movie and a lot of bandwagon fans, they played this game.

I called it a month ago.

A movie and bandwagon fans? Whatever......

The system sucks and played in favor of Alabama. If Okie State didn't choke against Iowa St, they would be there. Bama lost to the team ranked #1 at the time, held them to no TD's and made it back to the BCS Championship Game. Tonight, they dominated them and were crowned the National Champs......again.

One of the most boring games I have seen this season. LSU is playing horrible. Hell, even Oklahoma could beat LSU in this game.
 
LSU didn't cross midfield until there were less than 8 minutes remaining in the game. The Tigers finished with just 92 yards and five first downs, on the wrong end of the first shutout in the BCS' 14-year history.

Half the people on my Facebook didn't know what "Roll Tide" was until last night.

Regardless, I am glad Alabama won because it exposed what a flawed system the BcS is.
 
What an awful game. They somehow managed to put on a worse game than the last time they played. I didn't think that was possible.

lol @ you,worse?, ALABAMA N THE BCS KNEW ALABAMA WAS BETTER THAN LSU,thats why,no sugar bowl,lsu got lucky the FIRST GAME.:owquitit:
 
Last thing I am going to say about the BCS, SEC HATERS, and Forum baiters.
You can say it was flawed, it is what it is. It is the National Championship, and Alabama has won 2 of the last 3 years, state of Alabama has the last 3 titles, SEC has the last 6. You gotta beat the man, to be the man.

Pitiful game, yes maybe in this day of Pretty boy offenses. But those spread eagle offenses that look good in the ACC, BIG EAST, BIG 12 AND PAC 12 are no match for the Defense of the SEC. Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State have all tried, but they cannot go toe to toe with the big mean PHYSICAL fast defenses of the SEC.
Look at the matchup. LSU and Bama beatup on every oppenent they had except each other. Look at the results. Clemson gave up 70 in 60 minutes, Alabama didn't give up 70 until the 11th game of the year. No one, not even Oklahoma State would not have been able to get 2 scores on that Bama team that played last night.
Pitiful game, bring your sexy offensive team to to the SEC and see if they can cross the 50yd line before 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Nuff said haters and baiters....
