I'm ready, Lots of new faces, Got a new tire, what do ya think? Harvick? one of the new kids?
 
I think the young guns will do well with the new tire, it falls off quick. They are used to running slick tires, Eric Jones in Kyle bush's truck might jump up there.
 
Harvick dominates like he always does here, unless he gets a speeding penalty in which case he still does just has to drive through the field first
 
Yeah Harvick is good here. He isn't driving his truck or a Childress though. Equipment might get him, some drama there for sure.
 
Whos truck is Harvick in? He was stuggling just a bit in practice getting it sorted out. Hard to be against the old timers here imo.
 
I can't remember their name, but I have never heard of them. I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

I hear ya, but if the equipment isn't good enough? who knows, it might be wide open up front. Guess we will see how they qualify, might tell us something. So far A youngster is running the fastest.
 
Big learning curve for the young guys here imo. Very impressed with Jeb Burton. Harvick and those guys imo will just be hard to beat. Too much experience.
 
To be honest I'll be surprised if Harvick doesn't win tomorrow. He damn near led all 250 laps there last year.
 
Yeah, my boy is riding the #24 Tide Chevy to victory! So physched for this!

Better get used to it, too many youngsters in good equipment and they are hungry. They are going to put on a good show, probably have all the ol dogs all jacked up before it is all over with.:)

yeah and what does a lottery winner know about running a race team, and who the heck is this newberry or dingleberry dude, what does he know about getting a truck ready for a race. hornady didn't have a job, he was out of it until these guys showed up. Big unknown if ya ask me. Sure Harvick and Hornady want to win the race, but they are probably getting paid for their experience if the rest of them are a bunch of newbies.

If he's related to the Newberry who has a pretty successful Alcohol Funny Car in NHRA he may know a little?
 
Could be, going to be interesting to see if they run well, kinda of a ol' dog against young guns. I sure thought Beuscher would qualify better than he did, and the two youngsters on the front row are going to make the first part of the race pretty interesting if they get to racing each other.
 
Davenport didn't make the show. Guess he won't have to hurry to make the SAS race at Tazewell tomorrow night.
 
I was so happy so see Jeb get the pole.

Today was an added bonus because I just listened to a War Burton interview on Sirius.

yeah buddy, you got that right. Might be a big shift in the truck racing with the youngsters in there
 
Harvick didn't sound to optimistic about his truck in the pre race interview. Wonder if it is a backup of a backup truck.:)
 
Looks like Harvick will have to beat up on the truck series drivers all by himself today as he's the only cup driver entered;)
 
The truck series seems to have a lot more contenders for wins than NW does. And in general I think I enjoy the truck races more. Too bad the races are so short, but maybe thats what makes them run more aggressively
 
If they don't get Harvicks truck right, he is going to be jacked up all day, bet he turns somebody
