A Toddler is dead after he was able to get his hands on a gun.
Police say two-year-old Kinzler Davis shot himself in the head around 8:45 Wednesday night. The child's father called 911 and said his son found the weapon in the bedroom. Paramedics rushed to the home in the 300 block of North 30th Street. They took the kid to Navarro Regional Hospital and from there he was flown to Children's Hospital in Dallas where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation but authorities say all information indicates that it was an accident
