The more I look at that thing the better it looks, Its too bad the designers these days cant top these oldies

The fourth one is my favorite, just Damn.

Truly amazing cars. My dad had an E Type Jag for a while. Beautiful car, but electrically and mechanically as fragile as a butterfly's wings. He also had a 120 Jag with a 383 Mopar motor in it.

The Chevy Cerv & the 64 Ferrari were my favorites...

When I was a kid my dad had a 1960 Facel Vega HK500...> http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/20145/lot/112/ Weird car, dual-quad Mopar motor, in a French built car. Apparently about 550 were made in 1960. Awesome car.
I remember I would get in this car and pretend I was driving. There were a TON of switches in this car. Of course, I had to utilize them all while I was "driving". :D
My dad's was originally silver, also, but he painted his Amelia Red lacquer. Barris Customs was down the street from my dad's shop in Toluca Lake and George offered my dad a job painting cars (of course, my dad turned him down.) I found some 110 negatives in my dad's stuff after he passed away. One of the negs was his HK500 in fresh Amelia Red lacquer.
