between 3 and 4" of rain lat night..just had a brief 30 minute shower where visibility was about a mile or less.

We have 2 Tropical Waves coming through the next 2 days. We're in for a soaking, too!

Here in Central Florida, the 40 days and 40 nights thing is starting to sound good. Except July 7th, of course.

Seven inches here overnight and it is stil raining! Over nineteen inches just 20 or so miles from my home people on rooftops as I type..

Wow, 20 inches is a heck of a lot of rain.

And here we sit wishing for rain. I water my garden every third day but cannot afford to water the lawn.

Muggle, if we knew how im sure alot of us would be shipping you 55 gallon drums of water...

That'll take care of your global warming for ya.

Not to sound like one of the tinfoil hat wearing environmental wackos but actually with global warming you would have a mini-ice age similar to the one we had in the 1300s. The northern latitudes will be covered in a sheet of ice while the equator areas will be suffering from a drought.
I can only guess those crazy knights should have ridden horses to the Crusades rather than driving their SUVs. I mean that's what causes global warming, right? Just ask Algore.

Weather here

It's sunny, hot, 95°, miserable, and there's no relief in sight.

I'm betting we desert mutants will have a wet winter.

Multiple crop failures, ranches selling off their cattle, family farms bankrupt and severe water restrictions seem to be the norm around here. :(

Take your rain barrel down to the Four Seasons Mall in G'boro. They got up to five inches of rain today (Wed.) yet the official measure was zip out at the airport. We didn't get anything either, but we have had some soakers of late.
