Thinking process..need any/all opinions

Since its the offseason, i'm thinking about starting a game system to help pass the time..a trivia game thats twice a week (sunday and wednesday, with all answers due by the next question post day), kinda like the Aflack triva question. Being this is an all around board, I might pull a question from a couple different racing org's. Points would be awarded based on who answered when...

First person with correct answer: 100 pts
Second person with correct answer: 60 pts
Third person with correct answer: 20
ANY other correct answer: 4
ANY wrong answer: 1

There wouldnt be a physical award (just bragging rights), but it'd be for fun/entertainment/time passing. I would do points keeping in Microsoft Excel.

Go or No go? Any changes you want? lemme know... I'll do a trial one tomorrow if wanted and start the actual game on sunday.
 
well, it'd use a new topic for each game, but i could keep a topic with each question and answer and the scores up to that point...
 
what forum anyways? as diverse as this place is, i can't put it in any specific forum (like i said, i'm gonna have stuff from like F1, nascar, Lemans, Rolex, and a bunch of others), but i dont know that'll it get looked at in any of the actual games forums...
 
i'ma gonna change scoring to 100-75-56-19-4...a friend brought it up the other way had too big of a gap...
 
that's what i'm wondering..

like i said, each question will be it's own yopic. You can sticky the overall thread if you want that has all the answers and scores and whatnot.
 
We'll see. Maybe a new title? Include all kinds of trivia from motorsports to geography, to history, to celebs, and stuff.

i was planning on just staying to motorsports..is that topic itself not broad enough?
