This is giving me a renewed determination for my guitar playing. I've been listening to this guy's music for several years now, but his newest album The Ballad Of John Henry is giving me something to shoot for in my guitar playing. I haven't played much lately because of back pain and numbness when I sit and play for very long at all. I have decided to push through that as much as I can. I want to play this song so bad, I can taste it. So, I'm gonna make it happen.

Thanks. This song is a little more the style I have been playing for years. The funny thing is, I didn't realize how much he looks like me, in the face, until I saw this video.

The last video "Stop!" is pretty cool for several reasons. One, he's playing the same Strat I play from the 6:01 mark to the 6:11 mark or so (I've modified mine just slightly, with a pearloid pick guard). I'm almost positive that that is Anton Fig playing drums in the video. He is the regular drummer on the Late Show With David Letterman band. I know for a fact that Anton Fig is playing in the first video I posted "Last Kiss" because I had that concert on DVR for months. Eric Clapton, one of Joe Bonamassa's idols, makes a cameo and plays a song or two with Joe in that concert. I'm not a huge Clapton fan, but that was a very cool thing due to the influence Cream era Clapton stuff had on him. Joe has said that that was what got him obsessed with playing blues, rock, and really guitar as a whole in the first place.
