I think this is what set Johnson apart from the other drivers.
While the other drivers are *****ing and carrying on like a bunch of spoiled brats, Johnson and Knaus are cool, calm and collected. Johnson didn't scream, or yell or carry on, and neither did Knaus.
Maybe if the other drivers stopped acting like drama queens and actually get their head in the game they can challenge Johnson, but until then, Johnson will dominate. Below is my opinion of the drivers who are still in the chase and who are out at the half way point.
1 -- Jimmie Johnson Still in
2 -- Denny Hamlin Still in
3 -- Kevin Harvick On the bubble
4 -- Jeff Gordon Out
5 +4 Kyle Busch Still in
6 -1 Tony Stewart Out
7 -- Carl Edwards Out
8 +2 Greg Biffle Out
9 -3 Kurt Busch Out
10 -2 Jeff Burton Out
11 -- Matt Kenseth Out
12 -- Clint Bowyer Out
The reason Harvick is on the bubble is because he isn't performing the way he used to in the regular season. He can go either way. He can still be in, or drop back.
Someone should remind the drivers that this isn't WWF, you're not being paid to be dramatic, you're paid to drive.

And in the meantime sent yet another message that Johnson is never, ever out of it, not unless loose pieces of metal and sparks are trailing behind his No. 48 car. Granted, it certainly helped that Johnson didn't hit anything when he spun, and that the incident occurred early enough that he had sufficient time to make up the lost ground. There was never any panic, never any screaming over the radio. As usual, Knaus was at his coolest in the midst of crisis. "Things obviously aren't going quite as planned," the crew chief radioed his driver, "but we'll be all right."
