This is worth reading

Interesting!!! And this after i just read an interview with Brian where he states that he isn't concerned with the dropoff, again, this year in TV ratings. last year he blamed the dropoff in the fact that NBC didn't do any promoting because it was their last year. This year he blames the fact that all TV programming has dropped off including the NFL.

Erik Kruselias sucks. He's dumber than a box of rocks.

I wonder if they plan to make Reid the play-by-play analyst.

Erik Ku-silly is not the strangest thing going on. I can't stand the man, myself.

The strangest thing is that ESPN threw all its programming out the window to expand the show. As JD said, every TV guide in America for next week is now wrong! That just isn't done in TV land.

Someone made a call to someone and words were exchanged.

Most everyone has been talking about the greed of NASCAR, but one must also look at what the networks are doing and what that has done to the sport. This certainly isn't your daddy's NASCAR, nor is it your's! How long this good thing will last, only time will tell.

I for one watched less Cup Races this year, i find the the Nascar Cup experience is lacking overall. I can't put my finger on just one thing, but instead i point to the entire package as just not grabbing me like it used to. I think the media has something to do with it, while my work schedule also has an impact on it ( i work every other weekend 6am-6pm), in the past i would of recorded the races, i wouldn't of missed a lap. My weekend on this year i'd come home and catch a few laps of the finish or watch the highlights on ESPN. Sometimes i wouldn't even watch them until the next day! Now if this had been 10 years ago i would have been much more passionate about it. I guess what i am trying to say is that my love of Nascar Cup, as it is today, is definitely declining to the point i sometimes could care less. I think this i showing overall in Nascars' TV ratings, in the stands, and in merchandising. This is coming from a guy that attended his first Nascar race at the age of 4 back in 1965. I still enjoy the local tracks, but the big show..... well it needs an overhaul.

they can put all the extra coverage they want on ESPN ill still watch SPEED channels shows more. Nascar Live and Trackside and Nascar Tech are all hands down better than any piece of junk ESPN can put together. if espn2 played the show gearz all day then i might tune in more lol

The cookie cutter tracks are boring, there you go.

Richmond's sold out everytime I go there. Dover's sold out every time I go there. :idunno:

Something about the short tracks, I guess.
