Well if he has problems with fans that have pride then maybe he should butt out of it. Why doesnt he call Hockey a bastion of white supremacy, why doesnt he call Drag racing a "cracker" sport, Jackson is after NASCAR because NASCAR is the only Conservative, Christian sport and Jackson doesnt like any of it.
Jackson is a troublemaker in the political world and if doesnt get what he wants, he calls you a "racist", he's also called the Bush Administration a "bastion of white supremacy". Unless they pay him to shut up, he'll continue. But now that Jacksons done this, NASCAR definetely needs to stop funding him. Whatever we should do, we need to arrest Jesse Jackson for extortion.
Jesse Jackson's argument is already void, we have lots of minority crew members and drivers. There's Bill Lester, Craftsman Truck driver, Al Shuford a Pit Crew Coordinator and we cannot forget Hideo Fukuyama and there are other minorities that participate in all forms of the sport, even as car owners.

I would say he is after nascar because big people go after big things and what better than the biggest racing circut in america that just so happends to have a white image.
As far as I'm concerned, all that minorities are is a victim of numbers.
