Jimmy Spencer set to thumb his nose at greedy car owners:

Jimmy Spencer has had enough of building dynasties for ungrateful car owners and being left out in the cold after the team becomes a success. So in the wake of an eventful 2004 season Jimmy and Ed Spencer are poised to set loose a new team at Daytona, Spencer Motor Ventures. Spencer Motor Ventures will span three generations of the famous Spencer clan. Jimmy will assume the role of lead driver for the upcoming season while Jimmy Jr. learns the team and the business inside and out. Once Jimmy decides Jimmy Jr. is ready, Jr. will assume the role of driver while Jimmy Sr. will take over from Ed Spencer as crew chief. Initially the team will carry limited sponsorship from the family run scrap yard/tire dealership, once primary financing is in place Spencer Motor Ventures will provide more details.

Seriously, I haven't heard anything at all about this. Maybe I can get Cutie to email Jimmy's sister, Chris and find out if this is true.........she's on first name bases with her. :) And I really hope it is true.....then I can have another favorite to root for! :beerbang: :beerbang:
