Here's the deal, NASCAR is more interested in expanding their product in China and Europe than they are in trying to keep what they've got in the US. My, my, my...that doesn't surprise me at all. Maybe they can find a good pay per view audience in China and Italy. Good luck to them. I'll stick with my local racing and what if any free coverage of any kind of racing on TV.

Just wondering if maybe Tony George can see an opening in the current NASCAR audience?

They have Danica..they dont need an opening in our audience, they created one. THe minute she wins a race, the opening will be a gaping hole.

Whatever hapened to Shawna Robinson or the 2 women that were in CTS last year?

I'm just thinking that the time is rife for some entrepenuer to step in and see what is coming. The thing is, this sport is, I feel, a bit flighty at the present and when something comes along that gets the attention of the mob, they'll gather like a gathering of turkeys. If someone can find a good way to hype something new, I believe that they can be successful in taking away from the audience of NASCAR.

Multi, what was the point of quoting a quote with no comment?????

I had posted a comment under the quote but after rereading it and considering the political references I had made I felt it was inappropriate and deleted it .

At this point in time it would seem no mater what way you come down on anything political you P/O about 50 % of the people. I have enough stong views on racing so I think I will stick to posting what I know most about .

sorry for the waste of cyber space .

Yep! 50% of the folks... I cannot see how everybody cannot agree with me..can you?
How can we think so differently? We all have had the same edumacation offered to us. And here we are not agreeing on hardly anything.
Betsy:rolleyes:

That's interesting considering Martin talked to Dale Jr. about a DEI Busch ride, but sponsor conflicts prevented the deal.

MRM, considering the Hendrick stable is much broader than DEI, and possibly more grounded and secure, it just makes sense to me.
