There was an article in this morning's paper about the 2010 Camaro that will go on sale this Spring. Everything was complimentary about the car including the looks which is nicer than anything I have seen lately. I hope it sells well. Nice to see the muscle cars available again. Ah, too bad Trans Am Racing is kaput.

Although not a GM fan, must admit, that is a real neat car. Pure muscle and sharp looking to boot. Be nice to see GM have great success with it. Heck, might even consider buying one of those myself since I haven't gone through the old man long past mid-life crisis phase and a bright red (yellow is nice too) colored Camaro would easily fit the bill. Maybe this might be the time.

Heh! Heh! (the sound of a dirty old man) ;)

I just bought a 2009 Acura TL this past fall but I am seriously thinking about the Camaro as a second car (for me) to replace our older Acura. I kinda have a liking for the Camaro.

I really like the car, but I think GM missed the boat. They should have brought this out 2- 3 years ago to compete with the Mustang. I think the wallets are going to be too thin now.

EDIT: I also feel with the HUGE bailout they are recieving it is not proper to be making these kinds of vehicles when the company could be making better use of our money.

Totally agree, so did Chrysler with the Challenger, they should all came out the same time, Ford has a total winner with the new Mustang IMO.

mmmmmmm, I think I see a DOM in a bright yellow hotrod being pulled over in the near future. :beerbang:

going 5 mph over the speed limit isn't really considered a bad thing Andy.hahaha

You've never been on the Beltway, have you? :growl:

I can drive a car well over the speed limit, and I've got the court documents to prove it.

This is the Camaro that GM had Junior test in Australia in late 2007. He really liked it.

Kinda funny but I thought that you guys already had these on the road. We (the Airline that I work for) were the cargo handlers for these to get to Australia. I saw them come in ...I guess about a year or so ago but it was just a few months ago that they came back through Auckland on their way back to the states. And they had Victoria licence plates on them. (A state in Australia).

3 of them came back and they werent covered like many of the test cars are....but they were painted black with white blotches all over them....kinda like a reverse zebra.
In New Zeakland we get many of your yet to be launched vehicles that are taken down south for testing....always computers in them gathering data...kinda cool to see them

The magazine articles I have read say that GM has been working on it for like 3 years now. The V6 is supposed to get close to 300 hp with the V8 getting 420-450 or so. Priced roughly the same as the mustang. It should be one bad car.
