Thry're About To Fire Up The Trucks In Chi-Town

Congrats to Austin & the three team, glad he was able to hold on...

I had to laugh when I heard the communication between Richard Childress and the 3 team after Austin's win. He could not remember the crew chief's name (Danny Stockman). It was a classic "oh, sh!t" moment.

"Nice call there, uh... Nice call, Man!"

Oh, well, RC is gettin' old... :D

I've often noticed that good loser's are..... loser's.

There's a lot of wiggle room between being a good loser and a sore loser. 99% of drivers live in that area. Kyle was PO'd at the 63?, but the guy gave Kyle the low line and Kyle took it. Then he decided he wanted to run up and block Kligerman. He got pawnd by Kligerman, so he blamed it on someone else. Same old Kyle.

He always says he drives the little leagues to support them, yet he runs off and doesn't support the series by speaking to the media paying to cover the race. Same old Kyle.

I hope he bombs out of the chase early so he just gives up like years past and we don't have to watch the wha-wha attitude and jackassery on the track.

FB, would you rather see a two-faced back-stabber like Eddie Haskell win the crown?

At least Pee Wee is consistent! :D

I don't want to see any of them bomb out. I want to see the best race car driver with the best race car win. I'm not going to let any of these drivers wha-wha attitude or jackassery detour who I want to see in the winners circle. If wha-wha attitudes and childish behavior bothered me then this forum whould be the last place that I would hang out.

There's only 2 guys I care to root for. Keselowski and Gordon. If they get knocked out, there are 8 others to choose from.

But you gave me an idea. Kyle has an on-track tantrum and goes after the driver he's mad at. Carl gets in the way (Phoenix?) and gets wrecked. Eddie comes back out and 2 of the poorer sportsman in the sport take care of each other.

All kidding aside, I don't ever want to see Carl's unprofessional wrecking for blood ever again.

I guess good sportsmanship doesn't mean what it used to.

Sportsmanship hasn't changed any in the last 20 years that I'm aware of.

Any word on GOOD sportsmanship?

It's what I prefer in a driver. I also root against poor sportsmanship. I'm not a 'winning is everything' type of fan. Not that there's anything wrong with it. To each his own.

Too me everyone should want to win but if you lose don't try to blame it on someone else, something else, or anything else but yourself or maybe sometimes can be your crew. I seen a few times drivers blame someone racing them for them losing. Too me that's a whiner. Being mad you lost isn't any problem there just take the blame on your own for not getting it done.

I admire the fact that you believe so much in sportsmanship. I also like seeing good sportsmanship.:)

Thanks. The truth is, I used to root for Kyle because I could excuse his attitude due to his youth. What really gets me pissed now is how he runs all over the NW and truck regulars and uses every cheap move in the book to get his 200 wins. He's a huge talent and an exciting driver to watch, so I understand why people like him.
