Seven first time winners in the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season. Will Mansfield be number eight?

Yeah, freaking Kimmel!! That guy ever going to win again, or what?

This has been a quiet place this year. What, did the ARCA office tick you off? Iowa was a good race, and with the shockingly huge fan support as always.

Are you still going to this race? Hope its a good show and the weather holds off. I'm heading up to Toronto for Indycar and CASCAR. I hate when stuff like this conflicts.

I was there, brotha! This race went off in an hour and twenty-five minutes flat. Only 30 cars entered, and I believe only 20 finished.

This is an excellent facility, too bad the owner is a whack-job. They (or Mattoli, probably) did a great job of pulling it off though. There were plenty of vendors there with reasonably priced stuff, including the food. And one of the articles in the Mansfield Paper said he had lost his alcohol license, but $3 large cans of bud or bud light were available. Since I had two 10 yr. olds with me, I only had three though. :beerbang:

Well, I predicted Kimmel, but he came in 3rd. All in all, a good race. If that place seats 6,000, I'll bet there were 5,000 there. A very highly banked track (which I doubt is really 1/2 mile), and you sit right up on it, INSANELY LOUD. Had to buy earplugs, which I almost never need.

Sounds like you had a good time. Glad to hear that. Are you still planning on making it out to Pocono for ARCA and the trucks?

No, actually I have to blow that off. I was going to force the wife to go on the way to a mini NYC vacation. But she couldn't get off, and we're going in mid-August instead. I guess I'll be watching that race, which will probably be even shorter than the Mansfield race, on Speed. :D
