Time to start the anti-rain dance

Hmm.. thats odd local news is calling for 20% chance of scattered showers.I dont think they will have problems getting the race in.

The Weather.com site is calling for the same thing. However they are saying the rain will come in sometime between 6 and 9 am (that's the 60% probability) and by 3 pm it drops to scatters T-storms (20% probability). So doesn't look too bad since the race is supposed to start at 12:30.:) Looks to me like conditions should be improving by race time so maybe it isn't as bad as it looks.......hope so anyway.:) But weather.com has missed a lot of forcasts. Doing the anti rain dance anyway!!:D

I'm going with you on this one, DE. You always shine the light of optimism on these situations.

You haven't let me down yet! :D

Let's hope we get the green flag out on time and finish the race without getting bothered by any more rain. I want to see them race, not sit through a delay.

I'm 2 hours from the track, raining right now. Only difference in the Concord forcast versus ours here in Leesville is 2 degrees cooler there, same chance of rain for both cities. Break out the ponchos!

Well for the good news, the radar in motion looks like the LAST of the rain is passing over the area as I type this. Beyond the cell is nothing and thats GREAT! We might not see racing at 12:30 but it wont be much later than that from the looks of it!
YeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Alright, Kel!

Thanks for the positive spin. It means a lot, coming from someone who lives so close by. :)

Looks like all your hard work may have payed off, guys.

Driver introductions in around 20 minutes! :)
