I know Tony B is putting these times together for us and I really appreciate it. I use them constantly and even use them to let my mom know when the races are on for her in LA.

But I was wondering if TonyB or this board would mind if we did like Stooge's and continue calling them " Tiny's TV times"?

I think that's a great idea Eagle.
 
I've been struggling with the issue of calling these Tiny's TV Times. Since it seems to be the consensus, I will use that title.
 
Thank you TonyB, I don't want to take away from the person doing the work because I know it is time consuming and very much appreciated by all that use them regularly.
It's just in the few short years I've been coming to racing boards it's been Tiny's TV times. Then through posting on boards with him and e-mail corospondence I'd gotten to know him a little and he cracked me up with his humor. :)

Guess I'm just rambling but I think it would be our own little monument to him. Thank you again. :)

I don't think TonyB will think that it's anything more than a Tribute in Tiny's memory.
 
I'm cool with it all.

There's a story that goes with the whole thing.

Several years ago, Tiny started posting the TV Times at ERaceFans.com, just as he did at a ton of other forums. I asked him permission to publish the TV Times as an article. I send my articles to jayski every night, so they get anywhere from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand page views.

Anyway, Tiny gave his permission.

Immediately after the first one was linked from Jayski, I recieved several emails accusing me of "stealing" Tiny's TV Times despite the fact that I had his explicit permission to post the article as such.

During Tiny's hospitalization I've been posting the times as "TV Times" as opposed to "Tiny's TV Times" because it was generaly known that Tiny was in the hospital and no able to post the times.

Anyway, I have no issue with the times being called "Tiny's TV Times" as a tribute to Tiny. It is more than fitting. If I weren't so dang busy myself right now, I would be doing more to honor Tiny myself.

Somewhere in Ohio there is a BBQ apron (long story) with Tiny's signature on it. I had a couple of friends in Winston-Salem drive over to Tiny's to get his sgianture on it as he was the only one from the group I wouldn't meet up with at a race.

Anyway, Tiny's TV Times should live on as Tiny's TV Times. I will do my best to work with anyone who wants to do so to keep Tiny's TV Times out there as a tribute.
