I joke, but this actually happened to my parents. Before I was born, my parents had a "get back to nature" thing going. Both of them had college degrees in mathmatics. Then they decided that they wanted to live a simple life. They moved away from Chicago to downstate Illinois.
They lived and worked on a tomato farm in Marion, although they didn't own the farm. Then I was born, and we lived on the farm for the first couple years of my life before moving back to the Chicago area.

It is a game on facebook. If you have facebook, just do a search for Farm Town. Or, Farm Pals. Or, FarmVille.
