TNT bombs? You opinion

Pretty much spot on. Weber didn't belong in the booth. Fein didn't belong out front. Kyle and Wally were great. The Pit Reporters were above average.

TNT is cable. There really is no broadcast partner to promote it.

IMO - TNT had the worst 6 race stretch. All the races (minus Daytona) are usually pretty boring races. I only watched bits and pieces of most of the races, seeing as we didn't get TNT where we stayed in Boston or in New York.

I didn't think Mark Fein was a very good choice. He seemed very inexperienced, and kinda boring. I didn't watch the prerace when Fein was on.

Kyle and Wally were very dynamic. Ralph Sheheen, Marty and Yokum were very good. lindsay was hot :growl: and Larry Mac was great.

Weber's not that popular with fans, so that hurts them.

ESPN's ratings will be much worse though.
 
I read this guy's article and can't help but wonder - who would do play-by-play if Weber was removed from the booth?

Anybody remember Eli Gold from TNN/MRN? Or Winston Kelly?
 
i actually like the MRN crew, i listen to them at TMS when we go to/return from the races.

If I could get MRN in my house on my stereo system, I'd listen to them.

ESPN straight up sucks. :mad:

How many times are they going to show Draft Track.
 
Draft Track IMO is one of the most ignorant pieces of you know what.

Yeh i like Eli he did a nice job and Winston was ok too.

I think it's stupid but i really dont mind the draft thing.

But i just can't get in to ESPN, at 1st i was glad they were back, but now they just suck.
