TNT finally replaces Bill Weber

Speed TV pit reporter and former Motor Racing Network announcer Adam Alexander will take over as play-by-play announcer for TNT's coverage of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series this summer.

In a breakthrough of sorts for female announcers, Lindsay Czarniak will this season host TNT's prerace and postrace shows. Czarniak is a sports anchor at NBC's Washington, D.C., affiliate and has worked as a TNT NASCAR pit reporter. She replaces Marc Fein, who now works on the TNT-managed NBA TV channel.
