To: Al Gore

where the hell is global warming? It's cold enough to frezze the balls off a real monkey here!

Lappy, do you know where this saying, "cold enough to freeze the ball off a brass moneky" comes from? There is a story here and it comes from the way canon balls were stored on board tall ships.

Yeah, Algore and Global Warming. That's why his company sells energy credits so the rich fat cats, like him, can use all the energy they want. All the while trying to get the rest of us to cut back on our consumption.

Yeah, Algore and Global Warming. That's why since he was so afraid that the melting ice caps would cause coastal flooding that he dropped several million dollars to buy a condo in San Francisco, on the waterfront.

He's a phoney. But then some of us knew that all along...

Ice melting...who knew it would do that. Seriously, a portion of Antartica is melting. But much more of it is increasing in size than what is melting. And, yes there is melting in Greenland but we've seen that before as well. The warm temperatures were the main reason the Vikings settled the area hundreds of years ago.
The temperatures settled down in 98 and there haven't been any spikes since. Please do not fall into the trap where you are willing to drastically change your way of life because some non-scientists came up with a hoax theory.
I hope I don't need to remind you that just 25 years ago the scare was that the Earth was entering into a new Ice Age. Just this year at the last environmental conference hundreds and hundreds of scientist denounced global warming for the hoax it was.

BP, global warming, excuse me, now it's climate change, isn't a scientific thing, it's now become a religion and as with any religion, you are not going to change the minds of those who believe, no matter what proof you put in front of them. Right now, the only thing that will change their minds is if their "god", Al Gore came out and said that he did this for his own fortune, they still would be reluctant to change.

BTW, I couldn't believe it, but front page in today's WS Journal, "Study: Warming is partly natural...Transfer of energy in atmosphere may lead to Arctic thaw" and this was on the front page! Oh, and Hillary will coast to win in Iowa. Nah, that wasn't part of the paper, at least not today. ;)

Right here!! Tornados in January WTF

MADISON, Wis. -- A tornado has touched down in Kenosha County, authorities said.

Wisconsin Emergency Management spokeswoman Lori Getter said that the twister hit the Town of Wheatland, damaging five homes. Getter said that there are no reports of injuries and the extent of damage is unknown.

She said that the storm system that spawned the tornado is moving toward Racine County.

The National Weather Service announced a tornado warning for Kenosha and Racine Counties. Earlier warnings for Walworth and Rock counties expired at 4:45 p.m.

Meteorologists are tracking the storm as it moves east from Union Grove at 45 mph.

The NWS calls the storm extremely dangerous and life-threatening.

At 3:35 p.m., trained weather spotters reported a tornado in Poplar Grove in central Boone County in Illinois. Damage is unconfirmed in east-central Winnebago County. This tornado was located six miles south of Sharon, or about seven miles west of Harvard, moving northeast at 50 mph.

Yeh so what? Not so what to the people hurt and the damage, but so what to a Tornado in January. The more the media reports on "unusual " weather the more it gets blown out of proportion just like anything else. Gee seems i remember back in 1973 it being 62 degrees on Christmas day, did anyone get their panties all in a wad then because of this? No never happened , yeh it was unusual for Ma. to have temps like that in late Dec. , but no big deal. With all this so called climate change stuff it is who has the biggest agenda and the most to gain from it all that gets the most publicity.

in my eyes Al has hurt the cause more than he has helped, you gotta pratice what you preach and in my opinion he hasn't.

as for global warming maybe we are causing it maybe we are not i don't know i just know i am doing the best i can to lower my carbon footprint. and at the same time lowering my elcetric bills and my gas bills !

What is important for you and for all of us is that we try to lower our own bills. If it deflects from your opinion of a carbon footprint, then so be it, but if it doesn't, it's still a win for those who save money. You Global warming enthusiasts should use that model for your goal instead of the way you've been going of late. Latest word from some scientists is that the year 2012 could bring the coldest temps the globe has seen in years. Now that would be a real blow to Al Gore and his ilk, but it would be the biggest reason that they would try to get their political actions done well ahead of that year.
