To the person who stole my flash drive today,

That's what happens when you leave things lying around. Keep it in your pocket except when it's in whatever computer you're using, then put it back in your pocket.

It wasn't lying around. It was on me -- I have absolutely no clue what happened. I had it this morning, I had it on me at work. Went to use my blade (on the same ring as my flash drive) and it was not there.

Where it went is beyond me, but it never went to lost and found.

so instead of thinking you may have lost it somehow you go straight to someone stole it off of you? glad i'm not one of your co-workers.

Yes, I consider the act of taking something that isn't yours to be stealing.

I know exactly where I "lost" it. Someone "found" it and didn't have the courtesy to return it. And it wasn't a co-worker.

Like I just said, I know exactly where I lost it.

You'd be surprised what you can accomplish with survalliance video. I called work to ask if it had been turned in, and I was going to call out (something they won't let me do but sure allow others to do:rolleyes:).

Regardless -- I was able to recover the work in Microsoft Office and managed to get it turned in. I have six other flash drives but none of them can clip on to a key ring -- I'll probably just use my iPhone or SD card for storage now.

ever heard of emailing things to yourself?

soooooooooo, this guy walks into a house of ill repute, selects one of the ladies of the night and they go into the bedroom. He immediately gets undressed and as he stands there, naked, the gal points to his inch and a half appendage and says, "who do you think you're gonna satisfy with that?"

And his reply was, "me."

So Andy, you lost your hard drive? Have you tried Viagra?
