Today SUCKS!!

First off, I just lost my job. Really came at a good time considering I just started college. Plus, I hit a freakin tree with my dad's car costing 300 dollars in damage. When will it end. Harvick better finish good in the race.
 
I said it can't get any worse right before I got fired. I'm just waiting for something else to happen.

Don't wait for something to happen mustang.......go out and make it happen.:) Most of us have been there and it's tough, but shake the attitude that "today sucks"........regroup over the weekend and then make the negative be an inspiration to make a positive change. Things have a way of working out for the best, but most of the time you have do a little work to get there. Clean slate starting now......do something with it.:) You're a good kid and we are pulling for you.
 
Thanks, I was just really PO'd this morning. I talked with the guy I work for and he said that he wasn't going to fire me, just kinda not use me for awhile until business comes around. That is good to know.
 
There are only two sins;the first is to interfere with the growth of another human being,and the second is to interfere with one's own growth.;) Do not accept defeat my friend,it is only a test of your worth.:) :)

That is so true TRL,It is to easy to get caught up in the moment of despair,To only find out it was not as bad as we thought.Life is a roller coaster ride.We just have to learn how to ride it,and never think that is a given thrill that will never end without maintence.:)
 
I guess if I look at it in a positive way, I now have time for the college I can't pay for. I'll find a way. Even if that means going door to door asking "can I moe your lawn?"

Hey don't take my job away! Remember,I'm the queen of bad days. I go in to work today(Sat.) 1:30pm-10:30pm. I've had some days that make your worse day looke like a blessing.

I've learned to accept that life is not fair and time waits for no one.

Put your problems in God's hands & he'll carry you the rest of the way.we all have our crosses to carry.Some are small and some are large.It's when we overcome our obsticales that make us stronger.Never give up.I'm not.things are working out for me.(Hubby & I are working through this rough patch)Just gotta keep praying.Anything is possible.

I'm a construction worker. I been getting laid-off all my life. It's part of the deal. I'm not working right now as a matter of fact. And ya know what?

God has another job all picked out for me, I just don't know where it is yet.:D

Keep the faith, there is a method to the madness that even a wisened old trancendental type like me doesn't understand. It's gonna be ok. God has another job all picked out for you, you just don't know where it is yet.:D

Electrician here 71.......know what you mean.:) Luckily I am working right now and with the economy getting somewhat better it's beginning to look brighter for us construction types:)

Sheetmetal Local 88. Hadn't missed more than 5 weeks a year for the last 10 years but have worked all of 4 months since the attacks.

I have gotten extremely proficient at Kill Em All, Cat-A-Pult and Natural Fawn Killers tho.

Oh god............a tin bender!! One of those guys with a sawsall who always find a way to route their duct right where we run our rack!!

Just kidding 71.........hope things pick up in Las Vegas soon. Been sort of looking there for work myself.:D However, I tried IBEW when I got grandfathered in last year..........sorry, that is not a good deal. Maybe sheetmetal union is better but not electricians.:(

Well I'm certain it is Wrangler:D

To begin with, we are tiny compared to most other trade unions. Breaking in to any local is kinda tough (like next to impossible really) when there are local boys waiting to go to work themselves.

As you can imagine, Vegas has a HUGE number of sparkies and is probably as tough a local to transfer in to as any of them.
