I will never, never forget the horror I felt as I watched the live broadcast as the 2nd plane hit the tower. I was glued to the TV --- totally horrified, and yet unable to look away as the towers fell.
I will never forget what was done to us, and to the other countries represented by the people in the towers and the planes.

Let us nerver forget the innocent who perished, the brave who fought to the end, and those heros who ran to help. I hope and pray that we are a sadder but stronger nation, one nation, under God.
Allow me to share this prayer :
God of all creation we commend to you the innocent men and women who perished this day. We ask comfort for all of us left behind. We ask a special blessing on those heros who ran toward the devistation and into those buildings. For in doing so, we know that they ran into your loving arms.

It took until 2004 for them to even decide on what the Memorial to look like.
But, thank God GWB learned from Katrina and he is now steering the other hurricanes away from the American coast. Then again many of them would have hit his brother's state, Florida, so maybe he's just protecting Jeb...
