Yeah, I hear ya. It doesn't sting quite as bad if you loose to the team going to the final series though. There's nothing more exciting 'sports wise' than playoff hockey.

Nope, it's worth it. TV is glued to VERSUS and NBC during the playoffs.

Decision made..... Recliner it is. As much as I'd like to go to that, I think I'll pass.
I was going to try last year to go when it was at Fenway, but would of cost us $500 just for tickets for me and the wife, not counting food, transportation, and parking. By the time we added it up it was almost $700 just to go to a hockey game, it was a good game on the couch nursing my hangover!

Why did they have the Capitals open in Atlanta? There aren't even ten people at that stadium. Why does Atlanta have a hockey team (or any sports team)? They don't support any of their teams or sports down there, why bother?

Wow, I didn't see it last night but just watched the video on ESPN. Nobody was even around him when he collapsed. The shot that they had of him laying face up and motionless on the ice was scary. They said that he didn't regain conciseness until he was at the hospital. I sure hope they can find out what happened to him and that all is good.
