Even with all of the pre-race comments from the drivers, I think that tempers will flare and paybacks will occur, after all, it is Bristol.
One of my favorite races of the year.
It's too tight in the bullring and the drivers are too competitive for something not to happen.

god man, i hope the 24 is alright after that light contact

My temper just flared. The #6 got penalized for short pitting & still struggling to get back ob the lead lap. After the Harvick caution, the #24 was hanging 2 feet out of the back of his pit with no penalty. Total BS.

his tires were inside his pits cypress..watch replay carefully before commenting.

then i'm sure you saw all his tires were securely in..the end.

HAHAHAHAHA...I seriously doubt the #6 tires were short of the line. That would put ..oh..1/3 of his car in the pit behind his. Hardly any room for another car to pit. They had the same infraction & only one got penalized. But, that's NASCAR.

i'm sick and tire of people that think that nascar plays the favorite game crap..just live with it pleaseeeeee

Hey, if I want to vent about something I think was done wrong, you're opinion on the matter is fine, but don't make a smart remark about it. As if I hadn't seen the replay. Then, you want the last word on the subject ??? Not gonna happen, newbie. I'll now add you to "ignore" so I don't have to be subjected to you anymore. Peace.

be done with it pal. i wish you a good life.

hah yeah, i wonder why he is so ticked off..oh well..GOOD JOB MATT ON THE WEEKEND SWEEP..

Maj. you got that one right. The deal with Riggs and Gordon was funny to me. Jeffy says that Scott should have passed him on the straights, but that he had done the same before. Yep, he's done it before and more than once, but when it happens to him, he can't understand why.

Glad my boy Kahne had a decent day though he faded just a tad after that last pit stop, finishing 12th. Though he didn't make up much if anything on the top ten, those last three spots now are so very tight that those boys are going to have to race like hell to stay in the top. Imagine Marky and Tony are now the two at the bottom of the bunch. Two more to go and if any of them have some bad luck, it could be lights out.

I didn't see a replay of the #6 pitting but the #24 was clearly within the rules.

Opinions are fine as we all have them but the #24 did pit properly and that's not opinion - it's FACT.

Without seeing the #6 infraction I don't see how anyone could have an opinion.

I don't remember seeing the #6 infraction either. Could Mark have made a mistake? Or, are there some just wanting to bust on another driver because they had a decent night.
As to Riggs and Jeff, I doubt Riggs would have finished better than he did. Yeah he was right to be frustrated but he finally got his spot w/out Hamlin getting around Jeff. And, he was Jeff's real competition anyway.

Pretty laid back race for Bristol, not much in the temper department, seems to me there were a lot of careful drivers out there last night. Looks like Kasey lost ground in the Chase Buck, 90 points out of 10th i think. He will have to do better than 12th the next 2 races, hope he does it. Fontana and Richmond are good tracks for him, he needs top 5s and bad races for the 8 and a few other guys.

The good thing about that is that he isn't just fighting with one guy. Three guys are within 7 points of each other for that last spot and if any of them have problems, Kasey could jump over them. And the next three guys in line aren't all that much further ahead either.

I thought that was called "pitting outside the box"...short pitting is when you pit before everyone else, thus getting on a different strategy and inheriting the lead when all the other cars pit as scheduled...right?
