After these two incidents I wonder if future contracts will limit a cup drivers racing activities outside of cup. IOW, Will there be a exodus of cuppers from the BUSCH series?

Racing in both series does give sponsors double exposure sometimes. It is dangerous, many sports have such clauses. You can get walking down the street though. I wonder if any of the drivers have insurance for something like this. Quarterbacks and pianists use to have insurance on there hands. Dancers on there feet. Stuff like that. Anyone ever hear a driver insuring himself?

I'm guessing they already have some limitations as far as other series go but running in the xfinity series is pretty much an extension of the cup series. Injuries are pretty rare these days in the NASCAR series.

Didn't one of the drivers get injured on a skateboard a couple of years back . One playing basketball ? What about Carl doing those backflips ? I'm not saying they all should race in the Busch Series , but curtailing their dangerous off track activities is not possible.IMO

Kyle is the first Sprint Cup guy in 14 years to get injured in an Xfinity Series race. Steve Park's injury in 2001 was the last one that I can recall.

Moonlighting in Xfinity or the Trucks is usually a safe move. By sheer statistical probability, someone is likely to get hurt eventually. Kyle's injury likely won't change anything.

NASCAR loves it all the way to the bank when this happens. NASCAR cares more about money and ratings than it does about driver safety.

I cant imagine the nw or truck series without Kyle, If Kyle wants to run those series I hope Gibbs doesnt stand in the way

The domination gets boring but I hope this isnt a catalyst. I could see sponsors and owners eventually forbiding it with stipulated contracts.

But I hope it doesn't happen, the absence of a softer wall was the problem, it could have been a cup car.

I sure hope not

If I'm paying millions for driver X to drive a car with my name on it and driver X can't drive because he was off racing in another series in a car I don't sponsor do I get my money back?

I've heard the story of cup drivers entering the BUSCH race on Saturday to boost attendance many times. Stand along or held in conjunction with a cup race I see stands that are far from full, very far.

I will be enjoying the the Truck and Xfinity series without Kyle running
