I have seen alot of war related posts about alot of subjects on the matter. But where are the thank yous for tony blair, he has done alot to help bush. Most of the people in his country don't agree with what hes doing. Hes going agains't the people of his own country. A POLITICIAN going against the major opinion, when is the last time a politician did that in america???

If this has been brought up before sorry, I just havent seen anyone say much good about him. But most of the people that support the war keep talking about the good BUSH is doing.

I think it is great that Tony Blair is willing to back the US. I think his support after 9-11, was awesome. But correct me if I am wrong, hasn't he been backing away this week? I thought I heard that someone in his cabinet threatened to resign if he continued to support the US without the UN support. And I thought that Blair then said he needed to wait for the UN's vote? Isn't that what was being said?

Yes Blair is publicly scaling back his support somewhat due to all the negative comments he has been receiving from high-ups in his own country. He will support Bush all the way though once the war starts, some other countries will come on board also when the war begins.

He is going to be voted out of office next time they hold elections in the UK.

Why do you think these politicians would just risk their careers? What makes you think they would ignore their countymen and just go about it all this way? Ever think they might know something that can't be released at the moment?

i agree with paul.. and when is the next vote in the UK? i hope Blair is thinking ahead into his campiagn.. he might need all the help he can get <_<

Yeh Paul is right , obviously they know quite a bit more than what is being released to the media at the moment.
