From Jayski and ESPN: Tony Eury Jr. will take over crew chief duties for #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. beginning this week in New Hampshire, ESPN's Mike Massaro confirmed with sources at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated [DEI]. Eury had been the crew chief for Michael Waltrip throughout the 2005 season but was a key member of Earnhardt's team up until the infamous personnel swap this past offseason with DEI teammate Waltrip. Earnhardt has had a sub-par 2005 season, already missing out on the Nextel Cup's 10-race playoffs. It already seemed in recent weeks as if Earnhardt is looking to next season, anyway. Eury Jr. stopped by his car at Michigan and helped his crew make some adjustments that Earnhardt said improved his #8 Budweiser Chevy. The two were separated at the end of last season because of their constant bickering -- the two are cousins -- and both have said the year apart helped strengthen the relationship

Bravo !!!! Glad he's back. If they can quit their bickering Jr. should get back on track.

Chase or no Chase, If the 8 goes into victory circle and can run up front getting some TV coverage, Budweiser is happy.

awesome
jr will most likely do good the rest of the season and rock the season next year

I really truly think that this whole season has made Dale Jr. a better race car driver and for both Jr's they realize that they need each other for their sucess. After all those bad setups and cars dale jr had to work with and still stay in the top 20 in points makes a statement I believe. Once Dale Jr. gets what he needs he will show everyone what he is really capable of.

I thought it was a stupid move to begin with! So it looks like Dale Earnhardt Jr. really needs Tony Eury Jr. if he wants to start winning races again. I guess someones ready to put there differance a side. :)
