That said, I'm sure Jimmie will pull a fourth championship out of his ass so this may be irrelevant.

Jimmie will keep winning championships as long as it's a 10 race season. Chad and Jimmie have the Chase down to a science. The only way they can reward the best driver of the overall season is to eliminate the welfare points system.

I completely agree. The current chase format is pretty much a joke and hardly a good indicator of who should be champion.
