Tony Stewart Comments: #20-Tony Stewart has had several on-track incidents lately leading some to speculate the Home Depot Chevy driver is driving frustrated...however, Stewart told PRN’s Garagepass that’s not the case. "No, I’m not frustrated at all, we’re all working hard. We’re not having a typical season for us by any means you know...yeah there’s an element of frustration there but it’s not making us a road warrior on the racetrack. We’re racing hard just like we do every week but we’re just struggling this year and we've been in a couple of altercations that we didn’t want to be in but we've been in. It’s not a situation where we’ve been looking to go out and get into wrecks with people and try to cause problems by any means. It just happens that we’ve been in a couple of incidents." When asked if he feels any more aggressive behind the wheel this season Stewart said, "I feel like I’m racing just as hard as I normally do, I’m just not as fast as I normally am so normally when I’m that aggressive I get by people and I drive away from people where this year I’m around a little bit more of a crowd than normal.”(PRN's Garage Pass Radio Show)

i think he is just mad because he hasn't won in a long time. And he has to take out his anger on drivers that are doing better then him.

As he said he's a little frustrated but I really don't believe he would be that stupid to do anything silly like taking his angry out on other drivers. He's not that reckless.

Oh come one we all know that he doesn't do well until the second half of the season. The only time he did well in both parts of the season is the year he won the championship. Go Tony!!!!

Geeee, is that REALLY what happens to a driver when he hasn't won in
a long time?????????

I didn't notice Rusty getting all that aggressive on the track.

He was frustrated, but he kept his cool. And he even admits now that California
ws just a "racin deal".

Tony will be back!! Of that, you can be sure!!!!

I LIKE Tony a LOT. I'm kinda worried about all the speculation and negative attention he seems to be thriving on this season.

We don't see Mark Martin or other drivers being wreckless on the track out of frustration with their own driving or teams.

That's because Mark Martin is tooooo old to do anything, lol

Careful with that "OLD" word sonny.
Mark is only 44 and there are more drivers out there older than him!!!!
He just doesn't hide it as well as some do.

Mark Martin, too old ??? Too old to do what ??? Continue to act as a gentleman or win races??

Mark is the classiest driver in NASCAR today, bar none. He has integrity, calm demeanor, rarely, if ever, retaliates for others transgressions, is mature, exhibits good sportsmanship having established and expanded these personal characteristics at his first race in any division.

The same cannot be said about Tony Stewart. Tony has a well documented history of immaturity and temper tantrums resulting in confrontations on and off the track. These actions unfortunately are not the same traits exhibited by Tony Stewart under non-pressure situations where he can be personable.

In the plus column, Tony Stewart is, if not the best, one of the best drivers in NASCAR today. Stewart could, in time, attain a small percentage of the same stature and respect Mark Martin has gained over the years. The drawback is Stewart does little to change the average fans mind with his erratic behavior and up to now, the odds of change are not in his favor.

Mark is too old.... Why do you think he is driving the Viagra car. He is a great driver and a check of a guy. I have a lot of respect for him. He is a great mentor. Now Rusty Wallace on the other hand needs to start driving a car sponsored by Depens.
