DUQUOIN, Ill. — It was all Tony Stewart Saturday night at the Battle at the Center at inside the Southern Illinois Center.
The three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion started his No. 14h midget out front and was never headed in capturing the event held on a fifth-mile temporary dirt track.
Stewart beat POWRi National Midget Series champion Andrew Felker to the checkered flag with Tim Siner, Dereck King and Jon Stanbrough rounding out the top five.
Sixty-seven cars were on hand for the event.
