WTG Tony, with 2 laps to go and Harvick behind him doing the blocking he passes Jr. and Truex Jr. for the win. Great racing boys :beerbang: :beerbang:

Way to go Tony!!

That's 2 for the weekend so far, lets go for 3 tomorrow!

Yeah Kat, I was surprised but pleasently pleased by that.
The Busch cars looked much stabler than the truckes did last night, maybe it was the aero package NASCAR put on the Busch cars.

Good for Tony! Thank God it wasn't a wreck fest like the truck race.

Lets hope it's the same tomorrow in the Nextel race

WOW, anyone see the muscles on that Mr. Clean guy

I just don't like the media making him out to be the greatest since sliced bread, buck. His record, in cup, is not that amazing, is it?

I must admit that he seems to be improving lately, but in the past he has never shown to be a good sportsman. If he didn't win, he took it out on his competitors and good old Zippy had to do the talking for him.

OK, so he's a one-time champ. Good for him. But what has he done since? Got beat by a lot of others.

Bump, if that's how you measure success, name all the drivers who have won the cup more than once. Let's see, you have the King, DE, JG, DW, etc. Not a very long list is it. I guess you wouldn't consider Rusty Wallace or Bill Elliott all that good. Dale Jarrett? Bobby Labonte? Need I go further? I imagine that you simply don't like Tony and that's okay. We all have our likes and dislikes, but you gotta give a driver his due, like him or not. Tony definitely has his faults, and everyone knows that, including him, but to say that he isn't all that good a driver is simply ludicrous.

I think it's also because he has three karting championships, four USAC titles and one IRL crown.

i dont even like tony, but he is one hell of a driver. and just for the record tony has won a title and jr hasnt, so from what bumpzter says, tony should be the won in the spotlight not jr. im not sayin nothin bad about jr tho, hes cool

I'd never argue that Stewart is not a great driver, but he is not a good sport. Many times during the 500 and Bush race the commentators called him the, get this, 'best driver in the world'.

Let's see now. How many Daytonas has he won? How many Brickyards? How many Indy 500? How many wins in NASCAR? How often has he done idiotic moves?

Just a reminder. JG has 70 wins. 4 championships. 3 Daytona 500. 4 Brickyards.

Gordon is so far ahead of Stewart, it's not even funny. Next is Rusty with 55 wins.

And I'm not really a total Gordon fan. But let's call a spade a spade.

Just my 2 cents.
