Its good for the fans, but I dont like it when a WC regular goes out and beats the C. Truck regulars with better equipment. I still think Nascar should make a rule regarding this..

I can't help but agree with Awesome, WC regulars in BGN pizz me off too.

As with many things there are some negatives to the WC folks running with the BGN or CTS regulars. But in the long run it is beneficial to the series and its drivers.

The presence of the WC drivers helps put "butts in the seats". If the series don't have spectators and TV viewers they won't have to worry about the regulars coming down cause there won't be aseries to run in. Add to that the presence of more fans gives the regulars more exposure and name identification with more fans when and if they get a chance to move up the ladder to WC.

More fans and bigger name drivers will also attract sponsors to the series. A sponsor can get in BGN or CTS for less than WC and if he feels that the exposure is greater because the WC boys show up he more likely to sponsor a BGN or CTS team full time.

Any racer worth his salt is ready and even anticipates the opportunity to match his mettle against the best there is. This gives him or her that chance. And often the BGN and CTS drivers will whup up on some ar all of the WC drivers that come calling. Me, I would love to be able to tell someone one day that blew the doors off Tony Stewart at Richmond!! Even if I never made it to the Cup level, I would still have that.

I don't think that Harvick has better equipement than any other CTS team. He doesn't even have a sponsor. I love seeing some WC going to the BGN or CTS. I know that Harvick goes back to the CTS because he still wants his first win. With Stewart, it is just another type of racecar that he hasn't tried yet and wants to try it. I see no problem with that. I think though that there needs to be a limit on how many WC regulars can make a race.

Harvicks Equipment may not be better, but certainly not worse. I figure though, with all his money that he cant help but make that truck the best it can be. He loves to compete and win even more. I see no reason that he doesnt put his money into a truck that could dominate

Isnt Harvick the owner of his truck? Im pretty sure that he is...

So doesnt that mean that He will Put his own money into a truck that he owns? Which means that he will put Big Bucks into it giving him better equipment, most likely. Or is that now what you asked by But do the Owners? To answer that, it will depend on how much Money the team brings in, and how much $ the owner has.

Most other teams have sponsors that pay for the truck. Harvick doesn't have a sponsor so he forks it out of his pocket. Basically he is his own sponsor. I would think it would even out but maybe not.
