I fix phones in my lab ... I believe this. There were also people who believed you could recharge the phones by microwaving them, and that several earlier versions were waterproof. iPhone users tend to be very gullible where their belief in their magic phones is concerned

Not quite as bad as that twitch stream where they got the fat kid to nuke his laptop battery. It's disturbing, yet I can't help but laugh when the microwave is going off. I'm a terrible human being. I won't post it here, but it's on youtube.
