Too many commercials?

So far this season the time spent watching commercials during the race has been less than it was last year. That trend continued at Texas where 78% of the race was seen. The timing of the commericials seems better too. A few observations from Motorsports TV:

The final 47 minutes of the broadcast had just three minutes of commercials.

The final 59 laps of the race were run without any commercials.

FOX went 41 consecutive minutes without a single commercial.
 
Fox does seem to be doing better than last year with commerials. Last year seemed like we watched more commercials than the race.
Speaking of commercials, what is everyones opinion on the new UPS one? (The new logo makes the truck faster) I personally thought it was kinda dumb.
 
Hopefully NBC (Nothing But Commercials) folows suit when they take over the race coverage.
 
I doubt that NBC will follow suit, they suck with their coverage as far as i am concerned. The only show i watch on NBC is ER and that is only because my girlfriend watches it.....lol!!
