I dunno about that. Jeff didn't run too well the first time around at Martinsville. He used to be really good there but has fallen off in the last couple of years.

Sometimes, you have to go out on a limb, because all these races aren't won by the favorites (like last week). This is one of those times.

1. Robby Gordon - you heard it here first folks.
2. Ricky Rudd
3. Rusty Wallace
4. Jeff Gordon
5. Mark Martin
6. Jimmy Spencer
7. Tony Stewart
8. Bobby Hamilton
9. Kurt Busch
10. Terry Labonte

Pole - Tony Stewart
sleeper (like I need another sleeper pick) Mike Skinner

Robby Gordon??? Have you fallen and hit your head Ward-Fan?

4. Bobby Labonte
5. Mike Bliss / Jamie McMuarry
6. Terry Labote
7. Bobby Hamilton

Yes. But I'm sticking by that. I have this gut feeling (and if y'all ever saw my gut, you'd know that's a big feeling) that this race is gonna be a wild one. Too many points positions up for grabs, last short track, surface is crap unless they fixed it in the last week. Frammin and bammin...and who's better at that than Rubby.

Besides, who among us picked McMurray last week? These picks are free, what have I got to lose? If I'm right and he runs well, I look like a genius. If I'm wrong, then so was most everyone else's pick.

Nobody picked him last year at New Hampshire either...

Ok, guess I'll throw my picks up there.

1. #28 Ricky Rudd
2. #20 Tony Stewart
3. #88 Dale Jarrett
4. # 6 Mark Martin
5. # 2 Rusty Wallace
6. #24 Jeff Gordon
7. #48 Jimmie Johnson
8. # 9 Bill Elliott
9. #32 Ricky Craven
10.#98 Kurt Busch

Pole: Dale Jarrett
Sleeper: Bobby Hamilton

Atwood finishing 8th? And my Robby Gordon pick was off the wall? :D

I got some weird hunch hes gonna have a good weekend Needs to keep the sponser

No doubt he needs a good finish to keep the sponsor and the manufacturer execs happy. He might stand a better chance at Atlanta though, unless this week turns into a survival race, which is possible. Hope you are right, I like the kid myself.

Unless Casey gets a very lucky break, he is destined to be another journeyman racecar driver that may or may not EVER win a Winston Cup race.

Once the spec car series gets here next year, driver talent is going to play a much larger role, but I really think nascar is going to continue to stack the deck to favor it's choice for stardom, and I really don't think Casey is part of the plan.

Casey needed to stay in Busch a few more years before he left the seris to go to nascar. Maybe he oughta go back there

Nothing, just making predictions like everyone else. Is there something wrong with thinking they'll struggle this week? Seems as likely or more likely than Atwood finishing 8th :)

I stick to my picks but Im willing to bet you Kyle aint gonna finish 43 he aint gonna dnf he gots the streak to maintain and plus he aint finish worse then 25 in 20 races i think so I say thats consistant

Wouldn't mind seeing Dale Jarrett win it in my son's first live race, since he is a big DJ fan. It coud happen too. He just missed winning last year's fall race at Martinsville. I also like Jeff Gordon (as usual), but he hasn't done much lately to inspire confidence in him.
