Top 10 new-comers?

Which of the following drivers is most likely to move into the top 10 in Winston Cup standings by the end of the year?

I said Terry Labonte.
 
Obviously I voted Robby... but honestly its between Robby Gordon, Ryan Newman, and Mark Martin.
 
Great minds think alike.Martin,R.Gordon or Newman without question.Sterling COULD,but the other three are more likely,IMO.

I dont see the other guys listed as making it though. :cheers:
 
Here is the reasoning as to why I picked Robby, Ryan, or Mark to move into the top 10:


Ryan = consistent threat to win, came on strong last year towards the end of the season, always a threat to win.

Robby = had a great stretch last year from mid-season on, where he moved from 31st to 20th in points, he's much stronger this year and a contender at all types of tracks.

Mark = experience, Mark made a late season surge last year as well, and we are coming up on some tracks where he strives, consistency will be key.


Why I didnt pick the following guys:

Sterling = didnt run the last part of the season last year, so that will affect the performance of the team.

Terry = not a threat, and its going to take more than 10th through 20th place finishes to land in the top 10 in points.

Rusty = has been faltering quite a bit as of late, not known for finishing the season of well.

Ward = ummm, no.
 
I'd say Ryan Newman, he's going to win more by the end of the year. Last year he finished 2nd about 7 or 8 times, so I wont be surprised if he can rack up at least 10 wins this year and move even higher in the top 10 standings.
 
cmon this is easy rusty never finishes outside the top 10 in points so go with rusty. :cheers:
 
I vited for Ryan Newman,but I sure like Rusty Wallace's chances also & sure hope that He gets there as well ;)
 
I would love to see Ward in the Top 10, but I believe that would take a miracle. :( So my vote went to STERLING MARLIN!
 
I'd say that none of the are "new-comers". Newman is close with this being only his second full season in a cup car, but the rest of them are seasoned veterans..... :ph34r:
 
Ryan. I think he has the best shot, but you never know. Most of the others are strong contenders.
