Queue the posts that will tell us how it will be the end of NASCAR when Dale Jr's hauler pulls out of the track on Friday afternoon. Complete BS IMO. Petty's hauler pulled out and the sport is still here.
Besides..... They rules they had in place prior to the top-35 seemed to have worked quite well. There was very little chance of a team that was productive in this sport to have loaded up on Friday and head home.
