Looks pretty promising so far. Before anyone asks, yes it looks a lot like the UK version of the show and that's by design. The same producers are involved, and the show is structured just like the original. The main difference is the localization.

But to be fair, the UK show didn't settle on the hosts that they have now until after the first season. Also, this is the second version of Top Gear in the UK. The original 1977-2001 show was 30 minutes, and done in a magazine style format with multiple presenters. Including Clarkson.

It's entirely possible that the hosts may change.

+1, couldn't have said it better myself. I can't stand Rutledge Wood. He's beyond annoying. He's possibly the most annoying person on SPEED -- seeing as they have Darrell Waltrip, Michael Waltrip,Ray Dunlap, Larry Mac and Jeff Hammond grace us with their presence each week, that's a lot of annoying to top. But Wood manages to do it and make it look easy.
